Resolution for Error Updating Database for;   

                   Individual, Partnership and Limited Company, Tax and VAT  modules.
                   Individual, Partnership and Limited Company, Tax, Accounts and or VAT modules.
                   Practice (Standalone or Network)
                   Restoring from backup file.

Uninstall TaxCalc

Uninstall TaxCalc through the Windows Control Panel or by sending it to the trash.
The uninstallation process does not remove the database.

Re-Install TaxCalc

Use this direct download link to install this version of TaxCalc.

Windows - TaxCalc V11.8.001
MAC - TaxCalc Mac V11.8.001
Linux - TaxCalc Linux V11.8.001
 

Update TaxCalc

TaxCalc should now open successfully, select Help > Check for Updates and follow the on screen instructions to download and apply the latest version of TaxCalc.
