Resolution for Error Updating Database for Individual, Partnership and Limited Company, Tax module users.

Windows Individual, Partnership and Limited Company users.

  1. Click on your Windows logo and type '%appdata%' and select the Windows file folder.
  2. Navigate to Roaming > Acorah Software Products > TaxCalcHub.
  3. Rename the hub.sqlite file to oldhub.sqlite or similar (*).
  4. Restart TaxCalc.

(* please note in some installations the file may be found within C:\TaxCalcHub\Sqlite\)

MAC Individual, Partnership and Limited Company users.

  1. Open a finder window.
  2. Select Go > Go to folder from the top toolbar.
  3. In the window that opens type (or copy)  ~/Library.
  4. Navigate to Application Support > Acorah Software products > TaxCalcHub.
  5. Rename the hub.sqlite file to oldhub.sqlite or similar.
  6. Restart TaxCalc

TaxCalc will restart with a blank database, double click on your return files to re-link your tax returns to TaxCalc. Follow this article if you are unsure where your returns are located.
