In some situations a Windows PC may not allow TaxCalc to be installed as it claims that it is running on XP, although the computer is running Windows 7 or later. This will happen if the TaxCalc application is running in compatibility mode for XP. While this situation is unusual it is easily resolved.
While there is no reason this option should be set, TaxCalc have seen this on a very small number of computers attempting to run the late 2017 update.
