Some users have reported that while they are able to download and install the Mac version of the TaxCalc software, they are unable to start the program the first time following installation, and the following message is shown Network Connection required Press [OK] when your network connection is enabled If you get this message while using a Mac and connecting to the internet using a 3g Dongle, you will need to find an alternative connection. Making a wifi or wired connection should allow the licensing to work as expected. It appears that the licensing component does not recognise the Dongle as a valid internet connection. IMPORTANT - If you encounter this problem you may also need to connect to another network in order to file any returns. Note - There may be other reasons why you get this message, if this scenario does not apply to you please contact TaxCalc support.
