Remote support sessions and TalkTalkArticle ID: 2848
Last updated: 24 Mar, 2020
TalkTalk have recently blocked the ability for their customers to use AnyDesk. This is the tool that TaxCalc uses to assist customers if a remote connection is required. This means that if you are a TalkTalk customer, or a customer of an ISP that use the TalkTalk infrastructure (for instance Tiscali, Post Office and AOL Broadband among others), you may not be able to use the remote assistance facility without contacting your ISP for advice. In certain situations we may be able to advise on a workaround to this issue. However if your internet is provided through TalkTalk or a provider that uses their infrastructure, please inform the support technician before attempting a remote session.
