To declare CJRS (Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme) claimed through HMRC, and other grants provided by local government to support businesses through the Coronavirus pandemic please refer to the below instructions on where to declare this.

Please note, SEISS grants reference has been removed from the 2023 return as per HMRC rules.

The screenshots below show which boxes to use although please note you will need to be running TaxCalc 2021 (v11.13.079) or later to see the same wording.

SA100 – Self Employed Pages

SimpleStep mode:

Full Form and Short Form - Your work > Self Employment > Full Form - Details > Income > Complete the box labelled 'Please also enter any other business income'

HMRC Forms mode:

Short Form - Self employment > Page 1 > Box 10

Full Form - Self employment > Page 1 > Box 16

SA800 – Trade pages

SimpleStep mode:

Trades or professions > Adjustments to net profit or loss > Complete the box 3.50 labelled any other income or profits (this should include coronavirus support payments).
