Where Do I Enter Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) grant information?

Article ID: 3156
Last updated: 08 Apr, 2021

For 2020/21 tax returns, there are specific fields for entry of SEISS (Self-employment Income Support Scheme) claims.. The screenshots below show where the boxes are located although please note you will need to be running TaxCalc 2021 (v11.13.079) or later to see these.

Please note a small number of customers have reported that when the turnover value is less than the claim for SEISS, a value appears in both the profit and loss box within the self-employment pages. This does not affect the calculations. Our Product team are currently reviewing the tax return with view to a further update, currently planned for the end of this month (April 2021).

In the meantime, if you wish to file the return, you may find switching the self-employment pages to the full form will clear the entry as needed and allow you to proceed with the submission In some cases, where there is a loss before the grant is entered, this may not work so one option is to submit now, and file and amended return when the issue has been fixed.
