In a number of places in TaxCalc, you can export a document to an MS Office application such as Word or Excel.
When this happens on a computer running Microsoft Office 2007 onwards, Office will automatically open the document after selecting this option.
However, Office Starter Edition does not support the same programmatic access as other versions of Office. If you save to Word or Excel, and you are running this starter edition, you will be prompted to save the file - the program will not open automatically. This is a Microsoft-imposed limitation.
