I can't import partnership profits to individual return

Article ID: 2061

If you can't import partnership profits to an individual return, make sure that the two are linked in the partnership return:

  1. Launch Practice Manager.
  2. Select partnership return.
  3. Right click; Open InTax Production> Open.
  4. Click on Add New Partner.
  5. Enter details for the new partner.
  6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all partners.

If this doesn't fix the problem, check that all Unique Taxpayer References (UTRs) are entered in Practice Manager:

  1. Launch Practice Manager.
  2. Select the partnership or individual return you want to open.
  3. Right click on the client, Open InTax Production> Open.
  4. Click the cog icon in the top right corner.
  5. Click on Check integration.
  6. If there is no UTR, tick the box Resolve using tax return.
  7. Go to the SA100 return and refresh from the SA800 return.

Once the refresh has been completed, the information on the partnership pages should have updated and imported accordingly.
