How do I import accounts data on to the tax return?Article ID: 2135

The way in which accounts data can be imported will depend on which return type you are looking at. Please review the below information to see if you are able to import accounts into the required location. CT600 - Importing is available for populating certain entries on the computations. SA100 - Importing is available to populate the self employment (SA103) and UK Property (SA105) pages. SA800 - Importing is available to populate the SA800 trading pages. SA900 - No import is currently available. If you're using HMRC Forms mode, you may find the Excel templates at the bottom of this article of benefit. Excel templateIf you’re using HMRC Forms mode, you can download our Excel template to help you import your accounts: NOTE: If you leave any blank entries on the .xls file, a null value will be placed in the corresponding box on the tax return. You don't need to complete the Disallowable Depreciation entry and the Period Ending date as these are automatic. When you’ve completed the .xls file, follow these instructions to upload the accounts (see Import from Clipboard above):
