How do I get notified that a Job or Task has been assigned to me?

Jobs and Tasks can be assigned to different users. For example, if you're running a Tax Return Job, User A might be assigned to the Task, 'Prepare Tax Return', and User B might be assigned to the next Task, 'Review Tax Return'. By default, users are automatically notified when a Job or Task is assigned to them.

To notify a user that is not assigned to the Job or Task but still needs to be aware of it, you can add an action to the Task. For example, if you need to be notified when a Task has completed, create the Action, Task Completed then add the Result, Notify User and select the user to be notified.
