Report Manager - Usual Year End Report
To run a report to showing the Usual Year Ends please follow the below instructions:
Before running your report, is it important that you have entered the Usual Year End information in the either of the below locations:
- The Company Information section of the client record

To create and run the report please do the following:
- Go to Practice Manager > Report Manager
- Select New Report
- Choose the options as shown below and click Select

- Give your report a name and description.
- Under Client Selection, select the option Advanced Client Selection.
- Next select Data Mine.
- Within the Data Mine, select Add Condition and please select the following conditions:
- Client Type - this will be located under Client Information. From the drop-down menu select the type of client you wish to pull information for.
- Usual Year End - this will be located under Client Information > Business Information. From the drop-down menu select the option Within (a month) and then select the relevant month.

- You can save the data mine by selecting Save and Run. If you do not wish to save, select Run Only.
- Within Report Customisation, select the option Usual Year End day/month (client or business 1). Then select any other headings you want included on the report.
- You can adjust the order of the Columns by selecting the column you wish to move and using the blue arrows to move them up or down.

- Once you are happy with the selection, select Continue, Finish and Save. The report will now run.
- You can export your Report to Word/Excel/PDF by selecting the Export Report button.
If you wish to run this report for another year end, please do the following:
- Go to Practice Manager > Report Manager

- Select the Usual Year End report previously created, and select the option to Duplicate.
- You will then be prompted to name the report. We would recommend naming the report by the month you are running the report on, for example Usual Year End March.
- The new report will now appear on the table with the other reports.
- Select the report and select Edit Report.
- You will then need to go to Client Selection > Data Mine. Within the data mine please change the month to the desired month.

- You can then select either, Run Only, which will not save the Data Mine, or Save and Run, which will save the Data Mine.
- The continue through the report and then run the report.
