How do I change addresses for individual or multiple clients?
You can add a new client address by using the Global Address Book or Find Client Address. Either is useful when you have a couple with the same address or an address that is used often throughout your clients.
Global Address Book
To change a client's address using the Global Address Book, follow these steps:
- Go to Practice Manager from the home screen.
- Double-click on the client.
- Select Contact Information from the left-hand menu.
- Click on New Address.
- Select the Address type from the drop-down menu.
- Click on Global Address Book to display all addresses used so far.
- Find the address you want to use (using the search box if necessary).
- Select the address and click Use Selected to populate the address.
- Click on one of the following:
- Use for this – to update the address for the current client only.
- Use for all – to update the address for all clients who are linked with this address (useful for changing addresses).
Find Client Address function
To change a client's address using the Find Client Address function, follow these steps:
- Go to Practice Manager from the home screen.
- Double-click on the client.
- Select Contact Information from the left-hand menu.
- Click on New Address.
- Select the Address type from the drop-down menu.
- Click on Find Client Address to open a new window.
- Find the client whose address you want to use.
- Select the client and click Continue to see all addresses for that client.
- Select the address you want to use and click Use selected to populate the address.
- Click on one of the following:
- Use for this – to update the address for the current client only.
- Use for all – to update the address for all clients who are linked with this address (useful for changing addresses).
