Mail Merge - How to Preview the Output in Microsoft Word

Depending on which version of Microsoft Office you are running, there are different ways to display the output data that comes from the Mail Merge process.

Word 2007, 2010, 2013

• When the data appears on screen, you can choose which fields to include on the sheet by selecting on the drop-down box 'Insert Merge Field'
• It is then possible to preview the results by clicking on the icon 'Preview Results'
• The 'Find Recipient' arrows enable you to scroll through the details of each client accordingly based on what criteria you want to filter for.
