  1. Browse to the accounts file in File explorer.
  2. Click on View at the top of the screen.
  3. Ensure that you have a tick in the box for File name extensions.
  4. Right-click the file and select Rename.
  5. Delete the x from .xhtml to give *.html (where * is the name of your file).

Windows 7

  1. Browse to the file.
  2. Go to Organize > Folder and search options.
  3. Click on the View tab.
  4. Un-tick Hide extensions for known file types.
  5. Click on Apply.
  6. Click on OK.
  7. Right-click the file and select Rename.
  8. Delete the x from .xhtml  to give *.html (where * is the name of your file).

Using Mac OS-X

  1. Open the Finder window.
  2. Go to Finder > Finder preferences > Advanced > Show all filename extensions.

  4. Double-click on the file.
  5. Delete the x from .xhtml  to give *.html (where * is the name of your file).
