How can I access Engager from TaxCalc?

If you are a customer on our Cloud platform, TaxCalc now offers the ability to access Engager from within Practice Manager, when the link between TaxCalc and Engager has been enabled.

How do I link TaxCalc to Engager?

Log in to Engager.app with your usual Engager user ID and password

1. Navigate to Settings
2. From Integrations, select TaxCalc > click Authorise
3. The Infinity login screen should appear
   • If you are using email login for TaxCalc > enter your usual TaxCalc email and password
   • If you do not use email login for TaxCalc > enter the TaxCalc licensing credentials (also used to access the website) 
     • If two factor authentication has been enabled in TaxCalc for your user account then you will be required to enter your authentication code. This will appear in an Authentication App (such as Download Microsoft Authenticator - Microsoft Support or Google Authenticator - Apps on Google Play) that has been previously set-up for TaxCalc.
4. Once you have entered the authentication code, your TaxCalc and Engager account will be linked.
5. Link any client to an equivalent one within Taxcalc or create a linked TaxCalc client directly from the Engager client profile > General info page

How do I open Engager in TaxCalc?

1. Navigate to Practice Manager in TaxCalc to view the client list
2. Right-click on a column heading > select 'Engager.app' 
3. The column 'Engager.app' will appear - the logo will appear in colour for clients that have been authorised
4. Click on the Engager.app logo for the client you wish to view in Engager
   • If you are already logged into Engager, the client will open directly
   • If you are not already logged into Engager, you will be asked for your login credentials before being directed to the client.
