How to use the AML service through the TaxCalc program

Article ID: 2721
Last updated: 23 Apr, 2018

The current release of TaxCalc allows AML Identity checks to be run through the TaxCalc application.

For existing individuals within TaxCalc, an AML search can be run by following these steps.

  1. Open the Client Hub within TaxCalc and open the individual you wish to run a search against.
  2. Select Anti-money Laundering from the left-hand menu.
  3. Click on Run AML Check.
  4. You will be notified of your current AML status.
  5. Continue and complete the AML Check form.
  6. Within a few seconds the resulting Pass or Refer will be displayed.
  7. The search results will now be saved against this client within your database.

Alternatively the AML service can also be accessed directly from our website, however you will have to enter your clients information and update the TaxCalc application with the results. For more on how to do this, please see our Knowledge Base article on How to use the AML service through our website
