How can I make sure that the token I have selected will give me the correct information from my clients?

Within the Send Message screen/dialog the default view is ‘Create message’.  

To preview the results of a client specific Token that has been added to the message content: 

  1. Make sure one or more recipients have been added within the To field (using Choose mailing list/Choose recipients) 

  1. Select the Preview message tab. 

  1. To ensure tokens have been populated for each recipient, select the client from the Search recipients dropdown box. 

  1. To preview another recipient’s message, click the ‘x’ to remove the current recipient and select another client from the list. 

Please note: A token can not view Previewed from within an Email Template. To make sure a Template will produce the expected output repeat the steps above and select the Template from within the Send Message screen/dialog before selecting Preview message.
