TaxCalc 2027 will be available in late March 2027. We will let you know when you can update your software and this will depend on which type of customer you are. In all cases, you will not be able to file your return until after 6 April 2027, for the tax year from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027. Individual, Partnership and Limited Company customersTaxCalc 2027 will be released in late March 2027. We will notify customers when the software is available to pre-order. If you are a new customer or you have moved computers, you should download the new software at the time of release. Customers with existing TaxCalc installations will be able to update the program from the notifications tab in the software. Practice customersWe will notify you as soon as your update is available and this is planned to be no later than the end of March 2027, subject to any late amendments by HMRC. Please note that Practice customers are running a 12 month licence and therefore renew TaxCalc on or before their renewal date. As a result, those with licence expiry dates after 6th April 2027 will be notified to update their current software for 2027 when it is released without further payment at that point.
