A Presenter Identifier and Presenter Authentication Code are always necessary if you file accounts through third party software. A presenter ID is 11 characters long and is a mixture of numbers and letters. It can either start and end with 000, or start with the letter E followed by 10 digits. The Presenter Authentication code is a mixture of numbers and letters and is 11 characters long. This is usually entered in capitals. Companies House have 3 different types of accounts and depending on what you need to file to Companies House, will depend on which account you should apply for.
