TaxCalc Help Menu

Within TaxCalc you can use our Help menu from the TaxCalc home screen to access additional help and support:

Contents (F1)

Selecting the Contents option from the Help menu displays the TaxCalc Help Manual. This manual provides topics on all screens within TaxCalc, detailing each screens fields and the information that needs to be entered.

You can also press F1 whilst you're in a TaxCalc screen to display the relevant topic to that screen.

View Licence Information (F7)

For information on what you are licenced for and for how many uses, select this option or press F7. From here you can also buy more licences and activate an upgrade if required. You can also contact sales@taxcalc.com.

Send Health Check to TaxCalc (F7)

This feature sends a health check report directly to TaxCalc Support using a secure connection.

Remote Support

If you are already in contact with TaxCalc Support, you can use the Remote Support option to assist with certain problems.

Check HMRC Filing Status

This option is available from the Help menu when in Tax Return Production. Selecting this opens the TaxCalc HMRC Status web page which details whether there are any HMRC and Companies House filing issues and the CT Filing dates.

Send Return to TaxCalc

This option allows you to send the saved version of this tax return directly to TaxCalc Support using a secure connection. You can also send an anonymised version by selecting the option.

Contact TaxCalc Support

Select this option to contact our Support team, where you can enter your derails and describe the nature of your problem.

Check for Updates (F9)

From here you can run a check to ensure you're on the latest TaxCalc version. You can also press (F9) from anywhere within TaxCalc to run this check.

About (Alt+F1)

The About screen gives you information about your TaxCalc installation including the software version you are currently running. You can also access release notes and the end user licence agreement.

Application Settings

Select this option to open the TaxCalc Admin Centre Applications screen which displays information about the licences you hold for TaxCalc products.
