How do I set up a report for current CT return work status, ordered by date?

To set up a report that shows the tax return status of all limited company clients sorted by Corporation Tax (CT) end date, rather than by filing status, follow these instructions:

  1. Open Practice Manager.
  2. Select Report Manager from the left-hand menu.
  3. Double-click on Current CT Return work status.
  4. Select Report Information from the left-hand menu.
  5. Edit the Report Name to include by CT end date (or something more relevant to your processes).
  6. Click on Continue to Report Customisation.
  7. Under Sort by, select CT end date from the drop-down menu.
  8. Click on Continue to Finish.
  9. Click on Finish and Save.
