Last updated: 22 Oct, 2021

On the 22nd October 2021 we updated the installation media for our Mac users. If you are experiencing the problems detailed in the article below please firstly re-download the Mac installer from your TaxCalc account under My Account \ My Products and Services and try the installation again.

If you continue to have problems with installing TaxCalc on a Mac please contact where we will be happy to assist further.

Some Mac customers have reported that when attempting to restart TaxCalc an Apple error message is returned stating that the TaxCalcHub file is damaged and should be deleted.

This is due to the security settings present on the Mac but should only affect older versions of OS.

This security setting can be amended by following the public guidance Mac installer is damaged and cannot be opened. Please note this links to a Google search result with links to other websites that are not not affiliated with TaxCalc in anyway.

Please note that your Apple password will not be displayed when entered into a Terminal window. If entered correctly the command will be executed if not you will be requested to re-enter the correct password.
